cry

do you remember the last time you cried?

i do.

a few months ago when i got stuck in an elevator

no phone, no way to call for help.

i yelled desperately, but no one heard me for what felt like forever.

i cried

not just out of fear, but from a deep sense of loneliness and exhaustion.

i don’t cry often

but when i do, it’s usually when those two feelings collide.
