it is you, walking your cute little puppy, not a robot.
wow, we are busy. it's always interesting to see people on their phones. messaging, calling, scrolling instagram......anything but staying with the dogs, who are trying to drag your attention to walk with them, smell the road, observe other human beings, and simply stay with them.
sadly, phones are more attractive.
magically, i never see a person hit a pole.
my dog runs fast whenever out of the wood. she loves playing with other dogs and making puppy friends for herself, and me. i like to take her on different routes every day so we always see and explore new things together. i love and enjoy the time of being fully present with her (besides the early weekend morning when i just want to stay on my bed).
we are busy. multitasking, being productive, and making the most use of our time. wow we are busy. not having enough time to spend with our little puppies who are right next to us, with our kids who are crying at home for candy, with our parents who are holding their phones hoping to see a green bubble message pop up from us.
dogs need our attention. so does everything, everyone else around us.
i am guilty of not spending enough time with my parents who live on the other side of the world, who can get so happy just seeing a message from me, good or bad, whose english is not that good to understand what i'm writing here - i miss you, i love you, i'll call you tonight.
